If you are looking for a pre-existing product, there are hundreds of suppliers on Alibaba that can oblige.. but if you want to create your own customized product, it's much safer to hire a professional agent. When creating a custom product you will be confronted with many questions in relation to material sourcing, supplier sourcing, construction issues, quality, certification, price negotiations and production issues. And then there’s the issues of language and cultural barriers. Product development is a time-consuming process, and we all know that time is money.  

The right professional agent is highly experienced in product development, has a network of contacts, knows how to locate the right suppliers and factories, can speak the language, visit factories, and greatly help you in overcoming and avoiding many of the problems that will arise during the development lifecycle.

Intellectual Property protection in China is a real concern.

Our legal department will sign the NDC contract with the factory to protect your design. As part of the agreement product samples are not permitted to be displayed by supplier or in factory showrooms until at least 6 months after bulk order shipment.

There is no free lunch in this world. If a factory claims they can do the development for free, you should take this as a warning sign. New product development done correctly is a time-consuming process, and usually will take at least 3 months if everything runs smoothly. It's also a pretty regular occurrence for new product development to take 3 to 6 months. If you take short cuts in development it often hurts you later when a fix is much more expensive. Another concern is that if the customer (you) didn't pay for the product development cost, the factory may well believe that they are sharing the design with you, and have the right to sell your product to other customers.

Product quality is an import issue. The last thing you want is to pay for and ship the products to your country only to open the container and find major problems.

For all the bulk orders, we commission professional 3rd party QC inspectors. These inspectors will visit the factory, inspect products, and provide you with a detailed inspection report (usually around 20 pages). To protect your money and product quality, we don’t ask for the balance of payment until after 3rd party inspection has been performed.
